Hey friends! Been a long time….I’ve missed y’all!
Last year, some special people helped me host several catalog parties as benefits for people in my life that I hoped to help: Melanie Ford, my aunt Diane who was diagnosed with breast cancer and had a mastectomy, and a little girl named Allie Hart, who stole our hearts…she, too, suffers from cancer and is only a year and a half old. Thanks to y’all, my sweet readers, and my dear friends, the parties were successful and we were able to donate lots of money to worthwhile causes.
I am so thankful that this fun career allowed me to do something worthwhile, something that went beyond myself. As I have become busier and busier with my two other jobs, Stella & Dot has become less a way to make money and more of a way to provide a service if I can. I love being able to offer the jewelry to the people in my life and community…and to you…because it is well-made, pretty, and fun. Everyone who buys it seems to be genuinely glad they did.
All that to say, I don’t know how much time I will have to do actual Stella & Dot parties in someone’s home, but I still want to be a stylist and give all of you the opportunity to see and buy the chic jewelry that S&D offers via my website and through catalogs. You can do a virtual show via the webpage or a catalog show from anywhere in the country, and still benefit by receiving tons of free jewelry from all of your sales…and you don’t have to clean your house! All you have to do is put together a list of invites, and then send them via email, text, Facebook, snail mail or in person! I will be happy to mail you catalogs to pass around, or you can invite your friends to flip the pages of the lookbook online, giving them the opportunity to see the jewelry in the unique ways the designers of the catalog have paired each piece….and you and your customers can do it in your pajamas if you want! Can you imagine ANYTHING easier than that??
